KC T-Bones to face off with Wichita Wingnuts at Joe Becker Stadium

Professional baseball is making it's return to Joplin this summer.

It was announced Friday that Joe Becker Stadium will host the Kansas City T-Bones and the Wichita Wingnuts on May 12th.

Joe Becker Stadium is celebrating 100 years and this game will be the first of four special events to be held there this summer .

With all of the hype surrounding the announcement it's getting people to wonder what it would take to bring a semi-pro team to Joplin permanently.
