A Jay middle school principal returns to his job after a trial only to resign.
Roger Shane Carroll was found not guilty of manslaughter and reckless operation of a vessel charges March 28th.
Carroll who was acquitted on March 28th is resigning from his school post. On Thursday the Jay school board restored Carroll to his position as middle school principal. He then tendered his resignation effective June 30th. School Attorney Karen Long says Carroll won't perform any administrative duties in the time he remains employed by the district.
