Two Pittsburg men have been taken into custody and face charges after police say they fired guns from a moving vehicle.
Wednesday morning Crawford County Sheriff's deputies were called to K 126 Highway and 200 Street to a report of individuals firing guns from a moving vehicle.
That vehicle was located in Pittsburg with five occupants in the vehicle. Two shotguns were collected from the vehicle and two individuals were taken into custody.
The 28 year old driver faces a charge of transporting an open container.
A 25 year old faces a charge of transporting an open container and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Authorities believe the suspects shot at road signs in Cherokee County. No damage has been reported in Crawford County.
Anyone who finds gunshot damage on their property between K 126 Highway and 200 Street and 4th Street in Pittsburg are asked to contact their local law enforcement.
