Webb City Students Suspended - KOAM TV 7

Webb City Students Suspended

Updated:

An incident involving cell phones in Webb City prompts a police investigation. A number of students are suspended, police are investigating and the superintendent hopes to squelch rumors compounding the problem.

High school students, parents and grandparents have told us that nude photos were on cell phones, we asked the superintendent if that is source of the problem.

"If you're asking me specifically about any student obviously I'm not going to be able to respond because of confidentiality" says Superintendent Anthony Rosetti.

Superintendent Rosetti says a dozen or so students were involved in inappropriate use of cell phones. Numerous students were called into the office last week for questioning. The schools policy is no cell phone use during school hours.

The investigation is ongoing.
