Parsons to host annual golf tournament on May 11

The Parsons Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 22nd Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Parsons Golf and Fitness Center, 1187 24,000 Road Parsons, Kansas. Tee off times for the 3-Person Scrambles are set for 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. if enough teams warrant an afternoon tee off.

The $175 per team entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, mulligans, lunch and beverages. Cash prizes will be awarded and will be based on the number of entries per flight.  Prizes will also be given for the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Hole in One and other contests. Register by calling the Chamber office at 620-421-6500. Entry forms are also available online at Parsons Chamber of Commerce on Facebook under the events tab.

The golf tournament is the major fundraising project of the year for the Chamber.  Proceeds of the tournament will go to help continue events such as the Fourth of July Fireworks, annual Parsons Christmas Parade, Industry Appreciation Event, New Educators Breakfast as well as many other events and services provided. The Parsons Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion of business, tourism and the principal of building a better community.
