Softball camps to be held at Missouri Southern

Missouri Southern will be hosting the following camps this June:

Advanced Camp:

June 5 (1-5 pm) & 6 (9am -4 pm). Campers will participate in 10 hours of college style practices, learn about nutrition, weight lifting skills and participate in mental training to reach the next level.

Restricted to junior high and high school athletes. Cost: Resident Campers $225, commuters $200. Registration is due by June 1.

Cub Camp:

June 11-13, 9 am-12 pm. Ages 6-12 years old. Athletes will learn and develop the basic softball skills of hitting, throwing, catching and base running.  Registration is due by June 1, to guarantee camp t-shirt.

Lioness Camp:

June 18-20, 9 am -4 pm, 9 am – 1pm and the last day. Ages 12-18, some exceptions made with the ok from the MSSU coaching staff.  This camp is for the experienced player. Basic softball skills will be covered as well as advanced techniques and position play. Registration is due by June 8, to guarantee a camp t-shirt.
