A local after-school program needs your help to be eligible for $20,000.

About Our Kids in Lamar, Missouri is an after-school program from Ozarks Food Harvest and is still in the running to receive the grant from Walmart.

Only the top 60 agencies receive the grant and as of this morning About Our Kids was 59th.

    Iola, KS - Stephanie Jo Troxel, 35, was sentenced yesterday to 8 years in the Kansas Department of Corrections by Judge Daniel D. Creitz in Allen County District Court on methamphetamine charges. Troxel pled guilty in December 2013 to one count of distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of school property, two additional counts of distribution and one count of possession with intent to distribute.More >>
