Carthage men sentenced to probation and restitution

UPDATED NOVEMBER 25, 2013:

Bradley Cobb was charged with false imprisonment.  After a guilty plea he was placed on one year unsupervised probation and restitution.

Blake Franklin was charged with false imprisonment.  After a guilty plea he was placed on two years unsupervised probation and restitution.

Sebastian Gillen was charged with assault in the 3rd degree.  He entered a guilty plea on October 24 and was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, restitution and 50 hours of community service.

 

POSTED MAY 1, 2013:  Three Carthage men are arrested for and charged with kidnapping and second degree robbery.

Sebastian Gillen, 19, accused one of the victims of owing him money during a gathering at a home in Reeds, Missouri.

Jasper County authorities say Gillen then allegedly held two victims against their will at the home and Gillen allegedly punched and slapped one of them.

Deputies say Blake Franklin, 23, and Bradley Cobb, 23, drove one of the victims to a bank to withdraw money while Gillen held the other person at the home.
