The Children's Center of Southwest Missouri has received a little help from Roper Kia.
A check for $14,000 was presented Friday to the Center.
The car dealership raised the money along with a carload of toys to recognize the month of April, which was National Child Abuse Prevention month.
Three hundred people traded toys for oil exchanges during April.
"We're very very thankful for how the community supported us, coming out, buying cars, bringing their cars in for service, and we just really wanted to find a way to give back," says Jack Frost, the owner of Roper Kia. "We just believe the Children's Center does a very good thing with kids."
The Children's Center provides assistance to both victims and families of child abuse.
