Mothers Day Deals at Golf Club

Updated:

In honor of all the mothers out there many local businesses offered up special deals.

Schifferdecker Golf Course was just one place offering specials for Mothers Day. Mothers and wives of golfers received free green fees for their rounds of golf. Mothers also received a discount on golf cart rentals.

Officials say with the success of the specials in the past years, they hope see more females on the course.

"There's a women's league out here on Thursdays. There are usually 30 to 40 women, so it's a good deal for the ladies" says Vic Watson.

The managers say the weather today worked out perfect for the women to get out and enjoy their special day
