Southeast Kansas residents hit the streets of Fort Scott for the 32nd annual Good Ol' Days Festival.
Crowds gathered Friday to watch one of the many attractions including the Dock Dogs competition.
Carnival food and drinks, live entertainment, street dances and rides are also available for festival goers.
Festival committee member Mille Lipscomb says they've been planning the fun for a year now and that weather or not the festivities will continue.
"We definitely take the weather situation seriously and we have professionals here with us this weekend to make sure everyone remains safe," says Lipscomb. "Should some severe weather come our way we will be notified."
Everything will continue through Saturday, including a Craft Street Fair that will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
