Crawford County Job Fair on June 18

From the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce:

In response to the recent announcement of area layoffs, the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Pittsburg have announced a Crawford County job fair to be held on Tuesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Pittsburg's Memorial Auditorium. The event will be free to all job seekers and will not be limited solely to those in the medical fields.

Any Crawford County employer with open positions is welcome to participate in the event. To register, employers should call Anna Gudde at the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce at (620) 231-1000 by Wednesday, June 12.

    Bright Futures has two new affiliates for a total of 25. Bentonville, Arkansas and Poplar Bluff, Missouri will have the organizations that connect businesses, faith based groups and service partners to work with school districts to meet students needs including personal items like shoes to school supplies. Bentonville school district serves 15,000 students while Poplar Bluff serves 5,200 students.More >>
