A new Farmers Market in Carl Junction sets its sights on a later crowd.
Unlike others, the Market at Center Creek is open in the evenings.
The owner says having a market open around dinner time during the week allows for those coming home from work to pick up a healthy alternative for supper.
One vendor says she thinks the later market will be a huge success.
"Think that a large segment that get off work and are headed home and would like to stop by and pick up some fresh produce and meat to grill and I think this will be a really, really good way to catch the people that can't attend the other markets," says Nancy Rasmussen, owner of Sunny Lane Farm.
The market at Center Creek is located off Highway 171 and is open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday's, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday's.
