Some youth take over Missouri Southern's campus on Saturday for the Big Time Youth Triathlon.
More than 100 children ages five thru 12 participated. The three part event included swimming, biking and running.
Participant Abigail Edwards credits her coach - her dad - for getting to the finish line.
"It took my dad and running and biking and swimming a lot," says Abigail.
"It's all about her making the best out of herself and training for this and she's aware that the money raised from this event will got to a good charity," says Abigail's father, Pete Edwards.
Each participant received a medal and the top three male and female finishers received awards.
