Kansas Senator Jerry Moran stopped by Watco's 30th anniversary celebration on Monday.
People attending the occasion enjoyed lunch and heard from a number of speakers.
Watco's first customer was in Louisiana. Now it has 2,400 customers in 27 states along with other customers in Canada and western Australia. The company employs more than 3,200 people.
The signs for the new street name "Watco Team Drive" were also put in on Monday.
"Without the Watco team, we would not have a company, without our customers, there would be no reason for our company, so we're honnored to have a street named in Pittsburg, Kansas in honor of our Satco team," says Watco CEO Rick Webb.
Also in attendance were Pittsburg's mayor, the owners family, and a number of Watco team members.
