MSSU summer enrollment is up

Missouri Southern State University summer school numbers are on the rise, enrollment is up 4.5% for summer classes and up 10% for those taking summer classes online.

For some students classes are prerequisites and a must take.

For others it's a way to get a challenging class out of the way.  Administrators say Lion Pride Instate Tuition is now available for surrounding states which could be a factor in growth, but they also credit more course offerings from faculty and a variety of session lengths including 4, 6, 8 and ten weeks.
