Governor Nixon Signs Gun Bill for State Employees

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon signs a bill to allow state employees to carry guns in their vehicles.

The legislation lets these state workers keep the guns while on property owned or leased by the state. It will also allow fire chiefs with concealed-gun permits and special approval to carry weapons on the job. It also stops governments from having gun buy back programs unless those guns are later sold or traded to licensed firearm dealers.
