Arrest made in Pittsburg convenience store robbery

Updated July 10, 2013:  The Crawford County prosecutor says charges have been filed against a man suspected of robbing a Pittsburg convenience store early Tuesday morning.

Lucas Hollingsworth, 24 of Pittsburg, has been charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and theft.

 

Posted July 9, 2013:  Authorities have arrested a suspect in an armed robbery at Bo's 1 Stop convenience store in Pittsburg.

The clerk and witnesses say a man with a gun demanded money a little before 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday and then left with cash.

Investigators say a surveillance camera showed the robber.

Around 8 a.m. an officer spotted a man fitting the description of the suspect and arrested him.  He's a 24 year old Pittsburg man.

Charges are not expected to be filed until Wednesday.
