The show "American Ninja Warrior" may include two local ninjas this season.
Coaches Casey Finley and Jordan Davis of Amplify Gymnastics in Joplin competed in the regional qualifier last month in Denver, Colorado.
After submitting a video and training for a year together Finley and Davis were admitted to participate in the obstacle-course competition show.
Winners of the regional qualifier went on to the American Ninja Warrior Championships in Las Vegas with a chance to win $500,000.
Both coaches can't give away too many details from the show but say they are happy with their performance.
"We had to jump from trampolines onto objects and kind of grapple along," says Davis. "It was very intensive and very quick."
"Felt like I had a pretty successful run given all the circumstances," says Finley. "It was a fun thing to do and to be a part of."
Amplify Gym also celebrates three national champions this month in the U.S. Trampoline and Tumbling National Championships held in Kansas City.
Winners include Alea Davis in Level 5 Trampoline, Sam Repsher in Level 7 Trampoline, and Aaron Jack in Level 8 Tumbling.
