Patriot Tour travels through the Four State area

Updated:

The Patriot Tour, spanning across 48 states, made its way through Joplin and Parsons on Friday.

Riders arrived to Hideout Harley Davidson Thursday night from Arkansas and took off again Friday morning.

This is the third year the tour has stopped in Joplin.  Several veterans are taking part in the ride and say it's great to see so much respect from the community.

"The ride I think represents our freedom for all the people that have served our country and die for our country to have freedom," says Joyce Hirsch.

The Tour also stopped in Parsons for lunch and residents there lined the streets downtown to cheer on as the bikers rolled through town on their way to Wichita.
