Search continues for missing elderly woman

Authorities are asking for help in the search of a missing 72 year old woman suffering from Alzheimer's.

Hellen Cook of Buckner, Missouri was last seen Saturday (July 13) near Walnut Grove and Hensley Road in Benton County, Missouri.

Cook and her husband were visiting their lake property southwest of Warsaw, Missouri.  While her husband was mowing the yard, Cook left the camper at around 11:30 a.m. and she has not been seen since.

Search dogs tracked Cook to Highway 7 in Warsaw but the scent trail ended.  Authorities believe she may have gotten into a vehicle.

Searches on foot, by horse and helicopter have all been conducted, but Cook still has not been found.

Cook has not had her medication since she went missing and she is likely to not recognize her name and may not be able to speak in complete sentences.

If you have seen Cook please contact Benton County, Missouri authorities at 660-438-9555.
