New four-way stop coming to Southwest City July 29

New Four-Way Stop ComingTo Southwest City July 29

Southwest City, McDonald County -- New stop signs will be installed on McDonald County Route PP at Frye Road/Mill Street in Southwest City on Monday, July 29, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

MoDOT crews will install new stop signs on Route PP to make the intersection with Frye Road/Mill Street a four-way stop.

Pavement markings also will be modified approaching the intersection to conform to a four-way stop traffic pattern.

Other sign work will take place including the relocation of 25 mph speed limit signs and the removal of curve signs approaching the intersection.

The traffic pattern change is taking place at the request of the city of Southwest City.
