Updated at 3:15 PM CST:  Hospital officials tell us Rebecca Hensley, the third person in the van, remains hospitalized and is listed in fair condition.  Hensley is 15 year's old and is from Vinita, Oklahoma.

Reported July 19, 2013 at 1:15 PM CST:  Two people were killed in a crash Thursday evening west of Parsons, Kansas.

The crash occurred at around 7:20 p.m. on Highway 400 and Kiowa Road west of Parsons.  According to the Kansas Highway Patrol's crash log a van northbound on Kiowa Road failed to yield to an eastbound truck pulling an Airstream camper on Highway 400.  The truck struck the van in the driver's door.

Two people in the van were killed - Janice Hensley, 57, and Jackie Hensley, 40, both of Vinita, Oklahoma.  A third individual in the van was also injured and life-flighted to an area hospital.

According to the report none of the occupants of the van were wearing their seat belts.

Neither of the two occupants of the truck hauling the camper were injured in the collision.  Both were wearing their seat belts.

Authorities have confirmed an unrelated crash near Parsons occurred early Friday morning, which resulted in the death of a 16 year old.  Once details are released we will post that information as well.
