Bands play benefit concert for local woman with cancer

Updated:

Sounds of music filled the air in Pittsburg Sunday afternoon, all to honor a woman with cancer. Bands of all different genre's gathered at a local bar and grill,  Mooreman' South-Side, to help raise money for Kim Seybold.

Seybold was diagnosed with cancer over a year ago and has struggled with medical expenses. Musicians for miracles hosted the benefit concert and pig roast with all proceeds going back to Seybold.

Her family says Kim has remained strong through the hard times, and thanks the support of the community.

"I don't know what to say...she's a real giving person. She's always been happy go lucky, she's a good worker and a good mother," said Kim's Uncle Steve Seybold.

Kim's father has similar sentiments. "Kim is an awesome person. She's got a lot of friends and you can tell that by being here with all the people that have donated," said Kim's father Lance Seybold.

All the proceeds from the concerts this afternoon will go to Kim's doctors visits and medical treatments.
