Donations needed at Stuff the Bus to help Carl Junction, Joplin and Webb City students

Updated:

Schools supplies aren't always cheap and some families will be buying for two, three, four or even five kids. To help out Bright Futures and Crosslines of Joplin are teaming up to sponsor Stuff the Bus.

Both Friday and Saturday (July 26 and 27) you can find the school buses at the 7th Street and Webb City Walmarts.  Next Friday and Saturday (August 2 and 3) the buses will move to the 15th Street Walmart.  Remember, next weekend is also tax-free weekend for school supplies.

Your donations will go to children in the Carl Junction, Webb City and Joplin school districts.

"We just want to make sure that every student has the tools that they need to be successful for the school year so we want to be able to provide them with those opportunities," says Ashley Trotnic of Webb City Bright Futures.

  • composition notebooks
  • crayons
