Former Gorilla McGee Signs European Pro Basketball Contract

Former Pittsburg State University basketball stand-out JaVon McGee has signed a professional contract to play for the Iserlohn Kangaroos in the GermanBBL league.

McGee earned third-team All-MIAA honors during his senior season in 2012-13. The Kansas City, Mo., native averaged 12.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in 24 games for the Gorillas, helping Pitt State to an 18-10 overall record on the season.

McGee finished his career with 1,113 points and 716 rebounds in 108 games. He ranks second all-time in school history in rebounds and 13th overall in career scoring.
