Larabee Announces Fall Softball Schedule

The University of Arkansassoftball team will play four dates and five teams during its fall schedule, asannounced Tuesday by head coach Mike Larabee. Three of the Razorbacks' gameswill be played at Bogle Park. Arkansas' fall schedule includes a doubleheaderat defending national champion Oklahoma.

 

The Razorbacks begin the fallOct. 2 with two games at Bogle Park against Butler Community College andEvangel with first pitch set for 4 p.m. (CT) and 6:30 p.m., respectively.Arkansas' other home date will be Oct. 20, a scheduled doubleheader withOklahoma State beginning at 1 p.m.

 

Arkansas will travel to Norman,Okla., on Oct. 6 to play a doubleheader against the Sooners. It will be areturn trip for the Razorbacks who were the No. 2 seed in the Norman Regionalduring last year's NCAA Tournament. The team's fall schedule will conclude Oct.26 with a doubleheader against Louisiana Tech. The twinbill will be played inTexarkana, Ark. Both doubleheaders will begin at 1 p.m. with game two tofollow.

 

As announced last week, theRazorbacks will hold walk-on tryouts Aug. 28, starting 5:30 p.m. at Bogle Park.Interested participants must be enrolled at the University of Arkansas and comeprepared with their own equipment.
