7th Annual Dog Swim in Pittsburg - WITH SLIDESHOW

Updated August 19, 2013 - Monday night was the last night for the Pittsburg Aquatic Center, and area dogs were invited to take a dip before the pool is to be drained.

It's the seventh year the pool has held it's annual Dog Swim.

7th Annual Dog Swim

The 7th Annual Dog Swim will be held on Monday, August 19th from 5:30pm- 7:00 p.m. at the Pittsburg Aquatic Center. Dogs and their owners are invited to take a dip before the pool is drained for the summer. The Dog Swim is a great way for your pup to get relief from the summer heat.

General entry fee is $4. If you bring in a donation for the SEK Humane Society, your entry fee is discounted to $2. Dogs of all different breeds and sizes are welcome to come and practice their dog-paddling.

Owners MUST show a copy of their dogs updated shot records at the front desk order to enter the dog swim. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when out of the pool.
