ESPN Super Tuesday Coming to Bud Walton Arena

The University of Arkansas men's basketballteam's January 14th showdown with Kentucky at Bud Walton Arena willbe part of the nine-week ESPN Super Tuesday series that will feature agame from the Big Ten and SEC, announced by the outlet on Monday afternoon.

 The game is slated to tip-off at 8 p.m. CT asthe second part of the doubleheader with Wisconsin at Indiana.

 All games will be available throughWatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPNapp, through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members and on Apple TV to fans whoreceive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

The 2013 SuperTuesday series averaged a 1.2 US household rating – marking thehighest-rated college basketball weeknight series on ESPN last season.

Coming off a perfect9-0 home SEC campaign in 2012-13 under head coach Mike Anderson, including a73-60 win over Kentucky, Arkansas finished 20th nationally and thirdin the SEC in home attendance at 13,750 fans per game. The unbeaten SEC homerecord was the third in program history, but Arkansas' first since 1998. Itmarked the 20th straight year at Bud Walton Arena that theRazorbacks have ranked in the top 30 in attendance, including the 12thtime in the top 20.

Arkansas welcomesback 12 players from last year's 19-win season, highlighted by six players thatreached double figures in at least one game over February and March. TheRazorbacks ushered in the 18th-ranked recruiting class, according toESPN.com, adding a pair of top 50 big men in freshmen Bobby Portis Jr. andMoses Kingsley. Additionally, Houston transfer Alandise Harris is also eligibleafter sitting out the 2012-13 season.
