Traffic alert: Rail crossing on U.S. 75 now open

Updated at 12:50 PM CST:  KDOT says U.S. 75 at Neosho has reopened following a railroad crossing repair.

 

Posted August 20, 2013 at 10:13 AM CST:  NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

The Union Pacific (UP) Railroad crossing on U.S.75 at Neodesha remains closed Tuesday, Aug. 20 for repairs. U.S. 75 traffic should follow the detour set up on Neodesha city streets. Large loads should contact the Independence KDOT office, (620) 331-3760, before attempting the detour.
