Volleyball to Hold Scrimmage and Autograph Day Saturday

The Pittsburg State volleyball team will hold its annual public scrimmage and autograph day this Saturday, August 24 at Pittsburg High School from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Gorillas will scrimmage from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the PHS gym and then be available to sign the 2013 volleyball schedule posters from 12:30 to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria area. 

Pitt State returns 10 players from last season and adds 10 newcomers. The team will open the 2013 season with the Pitt State Classic on September 6 & 7 in John Lance Arena. The seven team tournament will see seven matches played each day. Pitt State will play at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday.
