A Neosho business is supporting the Ronald McDonald house physically and financially.
Members of the Jarden Consumer Solutions Community Fund Committee presented a check to the Ronald McDonald house in Joplin for six thousand dollars this morning.
After presenting the check, Jarden employees also volunteered time to clean up the house.
The fund targets initiatives that focus on improving the lives of individuals in the communities close to Jarden.
Officials from Ronald McDonald house say the grant means that much more since they are so close to home. Tara Horinek says, "they (Jarden) are located in Neosho. Neosho is the number one city we serve for families. And so its wonderful to see the Neosho community giving back to their families in Joplin who have to stay in the Ronald McDonald house."
