Nook eReaders coming to some Joplin Schools

New technology is coming to some classrooms in Joplin, putting the focus on reading.
As part of a district-wide focus on literacy every preschool, kindergarten and first grade class in the Joplin School District will receive Nook eReaders for their classrooms.
West Central Elementary received theirs on Thursday.
Each nook is loaded with up to 50 books.
Students will also be able to check them out and take them home.
