United Way bringing Dolly Parton Imagination Library to the Four States

Updated: Sep 4, 2013 05:28 PM

The area United Way chapter is working to bring new programs to the community.  One of those programs is the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

The goal is to provide children with a new book to read every month.

The national program has already provided more than 700,000 books to kids across the U.S. and now it's coming to the Four States.

"Fortunately we have received a great amount of support in our four county area and allows us to provide books to all those children 0 to 5 years old, it's an excellent program," says Bill Aquino, the 2013 Board President for the United Way of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.
