Crosslines Church receives $4,000 for food pantry

Updated:

Crosslines Church in Joplin received a $4,000 donation on Thursday from Jarden Consumer Solutions to help with their food pantry.

This is the third grant Crosslines have received from the Neosho based business.

Jarden Consumer Solutions made the contribution through their community fund.

Crosslines Executive Director Kathy Lewis says every little bit helps.

"It was pretty cool because we just have spent a lot of money on food this summer and we just are always very thankful when we do receive funding, especially for the food pantry," says Lewis.

Crosslines Church provides those in need with an emergency food pantry as well as rental and utility assistance.
