For the Pitt State women, senior Jessica Macy paced the field in the four-kilometer race, crossing the line in 14 minutes, 14 seconds.

Senior Casey Epps and juniors Cate Dunn and Alex Moase all finished a second apart in just over 15 minutes, 11 seconds. Brittney Graff paced an equally large alumni group across the finish line in 16:26

The Gorillas will travel to Joplin, Mo., to officially open the season on Sept. 21 by competing in the challenging Missouri Southern Stampede.
