Eric Schott named MIAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

A day afterbeing named the national cross country runner of the week, Missouri Southernjunior EricSchott has been named the MIAA men's cross country runner of the week asannounced by the league office today. 

Shott was thetop runner for the seventh-ranked Lions at last Friday's double-dual withArkansas and Missouri held in Fayetteville. He finished third overall witha time of 20:15.3 over the distance of the 6.6k course. He finished third inthe race against Arkansas and won the dual against Missouri, defeating 20 otherTigers in the process.

Schott andthe Lions will be back in action on September 21, when Southern plays host tothe annual Southern Stampede at the MSSU Cross Country Course.
