Kansans Still Overwhelmingly Disapprove of U.S. Military Action in Syria

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tim Huelskamp released survey results demonstrating that Kansans overwhelmingly disapprove of U.S. military action in Syria. Out of the nearly 3,400 respondents to an e-mail survey, 94% of Kansans opposed U.S. military intervention in Syria.

Congressman Tim Huelskamp released this statement following the release of the survey:

“The numbers speak for themselves. Like me, Kansans want no part of the Syrian civil war. They recognize, despite President Obama’s address, that America has no vital national security interest in Syria. I am, however, praying that there can be a peaceful end to the terrible fighting in Syria.”
