One person with critical injuries from traffic accident in Neosho

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE NEOSHO POLICE DEPARTMENT

On Thursday, Sept. 12 at approximately 11:44 a.m., the Neosho Police Department responded to the intersection of Waldo Hatler and South Neosho Boulevard in reference to an injury traffic accident.

The investigation disclosed two vehicles were involved. Vehicle one was a Dodge Ram truck. Vehicle two was a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. The Dodge truck was turning north onto Neosho Boulevard from Waldo Hatler Drive, while the Honda Gold Wing was traveling south on Neosho Boulevard and collided with the Dodge truck.

Newton County Ambulance responded to the scene. The driver of the motorcycle is 50-year-old white male from Granby was transported to Freeman West Hospital with critical injuries.
