Long: End the Bureaucratic Delay and Build the Keystone XL

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Rep. Billy Long issued the following statement in advance of tomorrow’s Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade hearing on the Keystone XL pipeline:

“It is time to end the five years of bureaucratic delay and build the Keystone XL pipeline. This state-of-the-art pipeline will be one of our nation’s safest pipelines and will create much needed jobs and help decrease our nation’s dependence on oil from the Middle East. The Keystone XL is in our national interest.”
