Things start to heatup as MIAA football moves into week three of play.

Lindenwood at CentralMissouri
Coming off two losses by five points or less to teams ranked in the top ten,Central Missouri hosts undefeated Lindenwood looking for their first win. Forthe Mules Hayden Hawk is averaging 313 yards per game through the air with fivetotal touchdowns. Ronrei Lloyd is averaging 90 yards per game receiving withtwo scores and Anthony Kirkwood is averaging 89.5 yards per game with two TDcatches. On defense Zach Quines had 17 total tackles and Ramond Hunter leadsthe way with 4.5 tackles for a loss. For the Lions Marvin Byrd is averaging104.5 yards per game on the ground with two scores. At quarterback DillonMiller is averaging 321 yards per game with three touchdowns. DefensivelyConnor Harris is leading the way with 26 total tackles and Thomas Stubbs has3.5 quarterback sacks.

#3 Northwest Missouri will go on the road to face 0-2 Fort Hays State in weektwo action. For the Bearcats Brady Bolles is averaging 119 yards through theair and 56 on the ground with three total touchdowns. Clint Utter is averaging109 yards a game receiving with one touchdown. Southwest Baptist at #14 Pittsburg State
#14 Pittsburg State returns home to face Southwest Baptist in week three ofMIAA play. The Gorillas are led by Anthony Abenoja who is averaging 220 yardspassing and 70 yards rushing with eight total touchdowns. On the ground JeffSeybold is averaging 96 yards and has three scores while Gavin Lutman has tworeceiving touchdowns. Defensively Nate Dreiling has 19 tackles while TylerDisney has 11 tackles, two sacks and an interception. For the Bearcats WillieTindal is averaging 350 yards per game passing with five touchdowns and tworushing scores. Derwyn Lauderdale has 19 catches for 338 yards and threetouchdowns. On defense Ivan Hodges leads the team with two interceptions.
