Webb City Man Sentenced For Murder

Updated:

A 4-state man will spend the next 20 years in prison after accepting a plea deal for the murder of a Carthage man.

After pleading guilty in July to beating a man to death two years ago Ronald Inman hears his fate.

The 32-year-old from Webb city was originally charged with 2nd degree murder for the crime in September of 2011.

That's when authorities were called to this home on the corner of east 20th and Kenser in Duquesne.

That's where they found the body of 43 year old Travis Weaver.

Police say weaver died from blunt trauma after being beaten in the head and face with a large piece of wood multiple times.

In July in man changed his plea to guilty and was sentenced on Monday to serve 20 years for the voluntary manslaughter charge.
