#5 Central Missouri readies for top 20 tilt
Record: 12-0, 3-0 MIAA  
Sept. 25: #5 UCM at #18 Truman 7 p.m.    Sept. 27: #5 UCM vs.MWSU 7 p.m.
#5 Central Missouri will face off with #18 Truman in a non-conference tiltbefore facing Missouri Western at home to resume league play. The Jennies arecurrently leading the MIAA in hitting percentage, kills and assists. They areled on the attack by Taylor Goodness who is averaging 3.86 kills per set and.332 hitting percentage. Julia Bates is leading the team with an 11.16 assistsper set average. On the defense Annie Reilly is leading the way with 4.95 digsper set while Haley Thompson averages 1.08 blocks per set.

Central Oklahoma looks to bounce back
Record: 10-1, 2-1 MIAA    Sept. 24: UCO at Southern Nazarene 7p.m.
Sept. 27: UCO vs. ESU 7 p.m.    Sept. 28: UCO vs. #13 WU 2 p.m.
Central Oklahoma is 10-1 on the season, with their only loss coming to a teamin the top ten, as they welcome the teams from the Kansas Turnpike this week.The Bronchos are currently second in the league in digs and blocks. They areled on the attack by Barbara Jackson who is averaging 3.58 kills per set. KatyDavis is the teams top setter averaging 7.32 assists per set. On defense TateHardaker is leading the league with 6.24 digs per set while Juliette Smith isaveraging 1.11 blocks per set on the year.

Emporia State hits the road in week four
Record: 7-3, 1-1 MIAA    
Sept. 27: ESU at UCO 7 p.m.    Sept. 28: ESU at PSU 3 p.m.
Emporia State will hit the road in week four after splitting their firstweekend of league play. The Hornets are currently third in the league in blocksand service aces. They are led on the attack by Josie Williams who is averaging2.64 kills per set. Macki Pankratz is the team's top setter averaging 5.59assists per set. On the defensive side Kelly Holden is averaging 4.51 digs perset while at the net Courtney Haring is averaging 1.08 blocks per set.

Fort Hays State looks to pick up first win
Record: 0-8, 0-3 MIAA    Sept. 24: FHSU at MWSU 7p.m.     
Sept. 28: FHSU vs. NWMSU 3 p.m.     Sept. 30: FHSU vs.Mcpherson (DH)  5:30 & 7 p.m.
Fort Hays State will look to pick up their first win as they face four matchesduring week four. The Tigers are led by Jenna Ulrich who is averaging 2.04kills per set and a team best 1.04 blocks per set. Libby Ary is the teams topsetter averaging 4.81 assists per set. On defense Makenzie Weinman is averaging4.15 digs per set to lead the team.

Lindenwood looks to snap losing streak
Record: 3-9, 0-2 MIAA  
Sept. 24: LWU vs. SBU 7 p.m.    Sept. 28: LWU vs. MWSU 1 p.m.
Lindenwood will look to snap a three game losing streak as they close out afive game homestand. The Lions are led by Aleah Rosenau who is averaging 2.74kills per set. Emma Brydels is the teams top passer averaging 8.55 asissts perset. On the defensive side of the net Anna Reichert leads the team with 3.41digs per set and Kayla Guyot is averaging 0.80 blocks per set.

Missouri Southern looking to pick up MIAA victory
Record: 3-6, 0-2 MIAA 
Sept. 25: MSSU at Drury 7 p.m.     Sept. 27: MSSU vs. SBU 6p.m.
Missouri Southern will be looking to pick up their first league win as theyhead into week four. The Lions are led by Katie Politte who is averaging 3.29kills per set. Abby Finder is the teams primary setter averaging 7.71 assistsper set. On defense Danielle Severns is averaging 2.58 digs per set.

Missouri Western readies to hit the road
Record: 3-7, 1-1 MIAA   Sept. 24: MWSU vs. FHSU 7 p.m.
Sept. 27: MWSU at #5 UCM 7 p.m.    Sept. 28: MWSU at LWU 1p.m. 
Missouri Western will face Fort Hays State before hitting the road for twostraight matches. The Griffons are led on the attack by Erica Rottinghaus whois averaging 3.26 kills per set. Stephanie Hattey is the teams best setteraveraging 6.79 assists per set. On defense Sarah Faubel is leading the wayaveraging 4.10 digs per set.

#6 Nebraska-Kearney steps outside the league
Record: 11-1, 3-0 MIAA   Sept. 24: #6 UNK vs. York 7 p.m.  Sept. 27: #6 UNK at South Dakota Mines 7 p.m.
#6 Nebraska-Kearney will face two matches outside the league during week four.UNK has the league's top defense as teams are hitting a league best .102against them. On the attack Ashley Leitner has 4.21 kills per set and a .309hitting percentage. Erin Seele is averaging 11.18 assists per set while MJMassanet is averaging 4.22 digs per set.

Northwest Missouri continues long road trip
Record: 6-5, 2-1 MIAA   Sept. 24: NWMSU at #13 WU 7p.m.    Sept. 28: NWMSU at FHSU 3 p.m. 
Northwest Missouri is in the midst of a long road trip plays their next eightaway from home as part of a ten match road trip. The Bearcats are led by BrookeBartosh who is averaging 3.05 kills per set. Bridget Hanafin is averaging 10.76assists per set and Bailey Vance is averaging 4.51 digs per set.

Pittsburg State hosts ESU and WU in week four
Record: 4-7, 1-2 MIAA    Sept. 27: PSU vs. #13 WU 7 p.m.
Sept. 28: PSU vs. ESU 3 p.m.
Pittsburg State will host the teams of the Kansas Turnpike in week number four.Crystal Whitten is leading the Gorillas on the attack with 4.19 kills per set.Hayley Hansford is the teams top setter averaging 8.97 assists per set. JordanRehm is leading the teams defense averaging 5.22 digs per set on the year.

Southwest Baptist looks to pick up first league win
Record: 7-3, 0-1 MIAA     Sept. 24: SBU at LWU 7 p.m.
Sept. 27: SBU at MSSU 7 p.m.
Southwest Baptist will look to pick up their first MIAA win as they set out fortwo straight on the road. On the attack they are led by Nikki Madoch who isaveraging 2.47 kills per set. Kelsey Franhauser is averaging 8.96 assists perset to lead the Bearcats. On defense Hannah Blount is leading the way with 4.72digs per set and Jordan Nedbalek is averaging 1.29 blocks per set.

#13 Washburn gets ready to hit the road
Record: 10-3, 1-0 MIAA  Sept. 24: #13 WU vs. NWMSU 7 p.m.
Sept. 27: #13 WU at PSU 7 p.m.   Sept. 28: #13 WU vs. UCO 2 p.m.
#13 Washburn will face NWMSU at home before hitting the road for two straight.The Ichabods are currently leading the league in overall digs. They are led onthe attack by MIAA Hitter of the Week Marissa Cox who is averaging 3.78 killsper set and hitting .337 on the year. MIAA Specialist of the Week Abby Wittmanis averaging 10.36 assists per set. Kelsey Lewis is leading the league's bestreturn averaging 4.26 digs per set.
