Taco Town Carthage Invitational

PRESS RELEASE TACO TOWN CARTHAGE

The Lady Tigers Golf Team hosted the 3rd Annual TacoTown Carthage Golf Invitational at the Carthage Golf Course this morning.Tee-off time was at 8:30 am with awards presented at 1:30 pm. Teamsparticipating included Carl Junction, Carthage, Joplin, Mount Vernon, Nevada,Ozark and Seneca.  There were a total of 44 players participating. 

 

Taco Town provided a taco salad bar buffet lunch at the Pro Shopfor all the players, coaches and support staff as they finish their rounds.

 

First Place Team – Carthage:  Abbey Catron, Kelsey Frost,Ansley Alumbaugh, Katie Griffiths, Elizabeth Poe and Kenya Medlock

Second Place Team – Joplin:  Samatha Stout, Lynsey Fichtner,Maggie Dowell, Alyx Colson, Chanci McGowen, Kylie Jones and Destiny Phillips

Individual Medals:

1st:  Mount Vernon – Ashley Childers

2nd: Joplin – Samantha Stout

3rd: Carthage - Kelsey Frost

4th: Nevada – Hannah Householder

5th: Carthage – Abbey Catron

6th: Ozark – Megan Dotson

7th: Carthage – Katie Griffiths

8th: Mount Vernon – Megan Pope

9th: Mount Vernon – Lexi Farmer

10th: Joplin – Lynsey Fichtner
