Kansas Speedway donates race tickets to Kansas National Guard

KANSAS SPEEDWAY DONATES RACE TICKETS TO KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD

In recognition of the service of the men and women of the Kansas National Guard to the state and nation, Kansas Speedway has donated tickets for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series – Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday, Oct. 6.

“I want to express my thanks and appreciation to Kansas Speedway on behalf of our Soldiers, Airmen and their families,” said Maj. Gen. Lee Tafanelli, the adjutant general.

“Donating tickets to the Kansas National Guard is a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices the Soldiers, Airmen and their families make to serve our country,” said Kansas Speedway President Pat Warren. “I hope they are able to come out to Kansas Speedway this weekend and enjoy a great weekend with their families.”

Kansas Speedway has donated tickets to other race events and has allowed their facilities to be used for Kansas National Guard training events. Kansas National Guard members have also been honored as special guests during racing events at Kansas Speedway.
