Men's Basketball Single-Game Ticket Information Released

PRESS RELEASE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS: 

A limited amount of single-game tickets will be availablefor the Kansas men's basketball games during the 2013-14 season.
 
The Jayhawks have 18 home games this season including the New Mexico game,which will be played Saturday, Dec. 14 in the Sprint Center in KansasCity.  The New Mexico game is part of the 2013-14 season ticketpackage.  Single-game tickets for the Sprint Center game will goon sale at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5 to all members of the Williams EducationFund (WEF).  Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, Oct. 11.
 
Single-game tickets for games in Allen Fieldhouse are based on availability andlocated in general admission seating areas.  Tickets for the first fivegames – Pittsburg State (10/29), Fort Hays State (11/5), Louisiana-Monroe(11/8), Iona (11/19) and Towson (11/22) – will go on sale to the top threelevels of the WEF on Thursday, Oct. 10.  All WEF members may purchasetickets beginning Monday, Oct. 14.  Tickets will go on sale to the publicon Wednesday, Oct. 16.
 
If available, ticket on-sale dates for KU's remaining non-conference and Big 12Conference games will be in December and January.  WEF members will havethe first opportunity to purchase.

    Crews Battle Vehicle Fire On Highway 69

    The Cherokee Township, Weir, and Galena Fire Departments fought a vehicle fire today (May 25) around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 69 near Highway 103. According to authorities a truck was heading south on 69 Highway when the vehicle started smoking. The truck was then completely engulfed by flames. The driver managed to escape the vehicle without any serious injury. Crews had the fire put out by 8:00 p.m. No word yet on what caused the truck to catch on fire.More >>
