New In-House Tuition Payment Plan at MSSU

JOPLIN, MO (SNS) - Missouri Southern State University has implemented a new tuition payment plan for students. The plan became effective during the current fall 2013 semester.

The University previously used a third party company for tuition payments. The new payment plan is available directly through MSSU.

The plan is beneficial because there is no longer a middle man to go through to make decisions. It is also much more flexible for students. Students will be able to stretch out their payments, making smaller payments over a longer period of time. They also can view the exact amount they owe online.

Alicia Hughes, Bursar at Missouri Southern, says, “Student enrollment at the university has increased this semester. We feel this type of payment plan benefits both our students and the university.”

The user-friendly payment plan automatically adjusts students’ accounts according to their bill pay and class fees.

The payment plan also allow students set up additional users on the account, such as a parent or spouse.

Students can access their payments online by going to www.mssu.edu/paymybill
