A reception was held in Miami, Oklahoma on Thursday honoring the 2013 Miss Indian Oklahoma. Robynn Rulo, a sophomore at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College was crowned Miss Indian Oklahoma after first winning Miss Indian NEO.
A reception in her honor was held Thursday at the Charles Banks Wilson Gallery on the NEO campus.
Robynn says she's happy to be representing the state of Oklahoma.
"You not only represent just one tribe but all tribes of Oklahoma, so that's the really big part about it," says Robynn.
Robynn is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and has also served on a student panel for the Native American Student Transfer National Symposium.
