Jasper County – Route 96 at Route 171 (west junction) north of Carl Junction will be CLOSED Friday-Monday, Oct. 18-21, as crews build turn lanes at the intersection, Department of Transportation said.

The work is part of a larger project to resurface Route 96 and add two-foot shoulders with edgeline rumble stripes between Route 171 north of Carl Junction and Route 171 near Carthage.
