Expeditors Recognizes Con-way Truckload with 2012 Carrier of the Year Award
Full-truckload carrier cited for exceptional Mexico cross-border shipping services

JOPLIN, Mo. — Oct.10, 2013 — Con-way Truckload, a full-truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced it has won the 2012 Carrier of the Year Award from Expeditors International. Con-way Truckload received the honor based on its superior shipping performance for Mexico cross-border operations. This is the second time the company has earned the distinction from the global logistics freight forwarding company.

“We continuously rely on Con-way Truckload’s local expertise, tracking service and deep knowledge of cross-border shipping in and out of Mexico,” said Jesus Ojeda, Regional Manager Southern Border and Mexico, from Expeditors. “Their steadfast commitment to excellence sets the bar high and we’re pleased to recognize them for their performance.”

Con-way Truckload’s expertise in cross-border shipping is a reflection of its decades of experience shipping to and from Mexico, its strong relationships with a vast network of Mexican carriers and large percentage of bilingual staff.

“This recognition is a direct result of the hard work, experience and commitment of our entire team in providing the most thorough and highest quality cross-border shipping service in the industry since 1985,” said Saul Gonzalez, president of Con-way Truckload. “We are proud of their diligence and we thank Expeditors for the continued opportunity to support their business.”
